Parent University is made possible for the Health Sciences Academies with funding from the Franklin County Commissioners via the Franklin County Department of Jobs and Family Services, as well as PNC Bank.
Parent University is a 5 session program designed to serve as a parental engagement tool to assist parents in acquiring the necessary resources to become great partners, advocates, and coaches for their children to achieve academic success. This year’s Parent University will start October 29th and run through March 25th. Participants are expected to attend all 5 sessions.

5:15 – 6:00 PM Free dinner provided for parent participants and their children
6:00 – 8:00 PM Parent University workshop
PARENT UNIVERSITY IS FREE FOR PARENTS OF COLUMBUS CITY SCHOOLS’ STUDENTS, BUT YOU MUST REGISTER IN ADVANCE.
Your registration helps us to plan for dinner, childcare, and bus transportation to Eastgate Elementary.* Please register by Thursday, October 25th.
*Bus transportation will pick up participants from Ohio Avenue Elementary at 4:30, Champion Middle School at 4:45, and Trevitt Elementary School at 5:00.
