Join The African American Male Wellness Initiative’s health screening committee (Columbus Public Health, Equitas Health, AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and FACES-Nationwide Children’s Hospital) as we come together for an evening of education and raising awareness about HIV in the black community. We will be discussing how African Americans are disproportionately affected by HIV, Of the 224 persons newly diagnosed with HIV in the Columbus TGA in 2016, over half (52%) were Black/African American non-Hispanic persons, decreasing transmission by using PrEP, and offering FREE HIV & STI screenings. There will also be a FREE dinner and raffle. Please RSVP to reserve your spot.
