On August 28, PACT is joining a community-wide effort called The Big Table. On this one day, thousands of people representing different backgrounds, neighborhoods, and interest groups are participating in hundreds of conversations to discuss how we create a strong and connected community.
With greater interest in urban living across the U.S. and in Columbus, the restoration of urban retail corridors seem to follow. On the Near East Side, those corridors are E. Long Street and Mt. Vernon Avenue. Brent Warren, staff reporter for Columbus Underground, covering urban development, transportation, city planning, neighborhoods, and other related topics will facilitate a discussion on this topic. Portions of the conversation might be recorded and included in a report posted to ColumbusUnderground.com.
Together with Broad Street Presbyterian Church Neighborhood Ministries, we invite you to join us for breakfast as we listen and learn from each other.
